He tilted his head to one side, and his eyes were curious. "I dazzle people?"
"You haven't noticed? Do you think everybody gets their way so easily?"
He ignored my questions. "Do i dazzle you?"
"Frequently," I admitted.

Nikki Reed Talks Top-Secret 'Breaking Dawn' Script
Press Room Category: Articles, Video, Nikki Reed, Breaking Dawn Movie, Bill Condon
Actress says even getting the script to her acting coach 'was a huge process.'

"Breaking Dawn" vampire Nikki Reed is one of the few people who have checked out the script for the upcoming "Twilight Saga" installment. And as the starlet tells it, the big wigs behind the flick are trying hard to keep it that way.

When MTV News chatted with Reed on the Scream Awards red carpet Saturday, she said the script is guarded so carefully that even well-known industry professionals have to jump through hoops to get a peek.

"They're definitely watermarked," Reed admitted of the script's security. "In fact, I work with an acting coach ... and I wanted her to obviously have a copy so that we could work together and it was a huge process. She's like a really well-respected coach."

It appears that studio execs are keeping such a close eye on the script for good reason, as Reed said filmmakers have knocked a great screenplay.

"I think that they've really mastered the art of translating these books and transferring every single element almost verbatim, yet it's obviously condensed because the book is endless," Reed said. "I didn't know how they were gonna conquer that challenge but they seem to have done it."

Kellan Lutz Gives Behind-The-Scenes Look At 'A Nightmare On Elm Street'

And just in time for the DVD release, Hollywood Crush has an EXCLUSIVE behind-the-scenes look at Freddy's latest horror show, with stars Kellan Lutz and Katie Cassidy talking about the not-quite-uncrossable line between a bad dream and a waking nightmare.

As primary victim Dean Russell, Kellan Lutz describes his wholesome character as "the one you want to root for"—while we get an up-close-and-personal look at his confrontation with Jackie Earle Haley's gruesome Krueger.

"You sense a lot of issues going on," Kellan says, as he talks about his role. "He's just mentally messed up."

Twilight's Nikki Reed Excited to Become Immortal Aunt
Press Room Category: Articles, Nikki Reed, Breaking Dawn Movie
Edward and Bella may become proud parents in the soon-to-be filmed Twilight: Breaking Dawn, but it's Nikki Reed who may be the most excited about the introduction of baby Renesmee.

"Selfishly, I'm really pleased with my relationship with this kid," the actress, 22, tells PEOPLE while attending a Cirque du Tacori event in Santa Monica, "but I really like the way it affects my relationship with Jacob."

Reed's character, Rosalie Hale, has always had a sizable chip on her shoulder when it comes to Taylor Lautner's shape-shifter, but after reading through the new scripts, Reed is looking forward to exploring her vampire's softer side.

"In the first part of the books Jacob and I hate each other," she says, "but we bond over this baby and we develop this connection that is really powerful."

It's a connection that Reed says is reminiscent of her off-screen friendship with costar Lautner, 18.

"It feels similar but at the same time more volatile than the relationship that I have in real life with Taylor," she says. "We're obviously buddies, but there's a playfulness that we get to explore that wasn't there before."

THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN is Currently Building Sets in Louisiana; Starts Filming in a Week
Press Room Category: Articles, Breaking Dawn Movie
We first heard that The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn would film in Louisiana and Vancouver from our interview with producer Wyck Godfrey. Today, one of the stars of franchise, Nikki Reed, told Hollywood Life she will start filming in “just over a week.” We have confirmed through two sources that the production is currently building sets in the Raleigh Studios at the Celtic Media Centre in Baton Rouge, including Edward’s house. We’ve been told the interior scenes will be shot in Louisiana, while the exteriors will presumably be shot in Vancouver.

Our sources also tell us that Breaking Dawn is not the only movie shooting at Raleigh Studios (we were told the studio is very impressive), as Universal is using the studio for Battleship, and Sony apparently just did some reshoots on Battle: Los Angeles there.

Hit the jump for more on Twilight: Breaking Dawn, including a recap of the new cast/crew that are joining the franchise in its final chapter.

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, and the rest of the Twilight gang will be joined by the following new cast members:

* Rami Malek as Benjamin
* Mackenzie Foy as Renesmee
* Maggie Grace as Irina
* MyAnna Buring, Casey LaBow, Christian Cmargo, and Mia Maestro as four more members of the Denali coven

Director Bill Condon has recruited some impressive additions to the crew for Breaking Dawn, including:

* Cinematographer Guillermo Navarro (Pan’s Labyrinth)
* Costume designer Michael Wilkinson (300, Watchmen)
* Makeup designer Jean Black (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button)
* Production designer and frequent Condon collaborator Richard Sherman (Kinsey)
* Visual effects supervisor John Bruno (Avatar)

Breaking Dawn will be broken into two parts: Part I hits theaters on November 18th, 2011, Part II drops a year later on November 16th, 2012.

Denali Clan Cast for 'Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn'
Press Room Category: Articles, Cast, Breaking Dawn Movie
Twihards, take note: The vampire coven known as the Denali clan has been cast for Summit’s “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn,” which is being adapted into two movies to be directed by Bill Condon.

MyAnna Buring -- the star of “The Descent” who had her own coven in “Lesbian Vampire Killers” -- Mia Maestro and Casey LaBow are the female members of the undead family. Christian Camargo is the patriarch.

Buring and LaBow will join the recently cast Maggie Grace as a trio of Russian vampire sisters of the Denali coven. Buring is playing Tanya, a rival to Kristen Stewart’s Bella for the attention of Edward (Rob Pattinson), while LaBow will play Kate, who has the ability to produce an electric current that can shock opponents. (Grace is playing villainous Irina.)

Maestro portrays Carmen and Camargo is Eleazar, the two Spanish heads of the coven, which in the “Twilight” universe is the only other non-human-feeding vampire clan besides the the Cullen clan.

A November start is being prepped.

A Special Note from Bill Condon
Press Room Category: Breaking Dawn Movie, Bill Condon
On the official Twilight Saga page on Facebook, Bill Condon has posted a message to the fans. In the message, he shares information about who is part of the 'Breaking Dawn' crew:

Hello fans!

Has it really been five months (and a day) since my last dispatch? In my defense, they've been five months spent immersed in the world of TWILIGHT - something I'm sure you can all appreciate. We're in the thick of pre-production now, juggling everything from casting to storyboarding to location scouting, getting it all ready to go, but I do want to take a moment to announce to you exclusively a few of the amazing production team members who are hard at work alongside me, bringing these movies to life. I hope you'll be as excited about them as I am:

Guillermo Navarro, who won an Academy Award for the beautiful PAN'S LABYRINTH, is our cinematographer. Guillermo and I have been painstakingly planning each shot, with a team of very talented storyboard artists.

Michael Wilkinson, our costume designer, is bringing his brilliant vision to the styles of all your favorite characters. Michael's created fantastic looks for 300, WATCHMEN, and the upcoming TRON: LEGACY - just wait 'til you see his take on the vampire witnesses who come to Forks from around the globe.

Jean Black, our makeup designer, has worked extensively with the Coen Brothers and David Fincher, most recently making exquisite, award-winning contributions to THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON. I'm honored to be working with her.

Richard Sherman, with whom I made GODS AND MONSTERS and KINSEY, is on-board as our production designer. Richard's one of my oldest collaborators and a terrific designer, and you may be interested to know that he also happens to be a lifelong vampire aficionado.

Our Oscar-winning visual effects supervisor John Bruno has been responsible for some of the most memorable special effects ever, with his groundbreaking work on display in everything from POLTERGEIST to AVATAR. He and his team are working intensely to develop solutions to the host of special effects challenges that Stephenie created for us in BREAKING DAWN, including that remarkable kid...

Wonderful, imaginative people all and very exciting, intense times for us. Even with the months of work we've already put in, we're barely underway on the journey, and I do hope to get back to you much sooner next time with more news. Until then, thanks for your warm reception and continued support!

Very best regards,
Bill

Maggie Grace to Play Villian Irina in 'Breaking Dawn'
Press Room Category: Articles, Cast, Breaking Dawn Movie
Twihards, meet Bella’s latest threat: Maggie Grace. The actress best known for playing the daughter in distress in last year’s Taken and Shannon on Lost, will play Irina in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, the final two installments of the Twilight franchise which are scheduled to begin filming in November in Baton Rouge. Deadline Hollywood first broke the news.

Irina is a member of the Denali coven who blames the Cullens for the death of her lover. Summit Entertainment will release the first installment of Breaking Dawn on November 18, 2011 with the finale bowing the following November. Bill Condon is directing from scripts by Melissa Rosenberg. Grace’s other credits include last summer’s Knight and Day and 2007′s The Jane Austen Book Club.

Newcomer Mackenzie Foy to Play Renesmee in 'Breaking Dawn'
Press Room Category: Articles, Cast, Breaking Dawn Movie
It’s a big day for Twihards. First Maggie Grace signs on to play Irina. Now EW.com has learned that little 9-year old Mackenzie Foy is inches away from signing on to play Renesmee, Edward and Bella’s vampire/human love child that’s a central role in the final installment of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn.

It’s not yet clear how the diminutive actress, who’s appeared in one episode each of television shows FlashForward and ‘Til Death, will portray the character who ages a full 17 years in only seven. Sources have suggested that director Bill Condon will employ similar digital effects to those used by David Fincher in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, where Foy’s face would be digitally transferred onto the face of a younger child. It’s also probable that the studio will hire a younger child in some capacity, too.

Summit Entertainment is remaining mum on the issue. But to see Foy’s angelic face, which could very well be the offspring of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, check out her website.

Ashley Greene Takes Joe Jonas to Meet the Fam
Press Room Category: Articles, Ashley Greene
Things are getting pretty serious between Joe Jonas and Ashley Greene...or so they want you to believe!

The two have been casually dating for almost four months now, but just this weekend Greene finally decided to take her famous other half home to meet her parents in Jacksonville, Florida.

Are these two taking their relaysh to the next level?

Not unless Joe gets rid of that purity ring, but we'll get to that later.

Greene and Jonas were spotted over the weekend shopping at the outdoor mall and eating at the California Pizza Kitchen in Jacksonville Beach, but things got really hot in an obvious PDA way on Saturday night when the two were seen at the local Ritz Bar hanging out and making out.

"They were there with two other couples and at first went unnoticed," says eyewitness and former celebrity publicist, Jonathan Jaxson. "Then they moved to the back corner for more privacy. They were very cute together; she was caressing him, they were making out and holding hands."

While the two weren't at the night spot alone, our spy says the two only had eyes for each other.

"After they started making out, they drew some unwanted attention," says Jaxson. "A lot of people were coming up to them and asking for pictures."

Breaking Dawn Birth Scene: "I Love the Way They're Showing It," Says Kellan Lutz
Press Room Category: Articles, Kellan Lutz, Breaking Dawn Movie
Let the countdown begin. Cameras are pretty close to rolling on Breaking Dawn.

"We start sometime in October and go all the way through to late April," Kellan Lutz says. "I just did a [wardrobe fitting] and a contact lenses test."

As for that much anticipated, hard-to-imagine birthing scene...

Lutz cracked, "I think they should show it and have Emmett in the background laughing."

Joking aside, Lutz says he knows what director Bill Condon has planned for the potentially gory sequence. "I love the way that they're showing it," he said. "I really thought that was going to be really a tough thing to show."

Screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg recently told us the birth of baby Renesmee won't necessarily be gruesome. "I don't think it's about the amount of blood you show," she said. "It's about the intensity of it. It's on their faces. It's all from Bella's point of view when you're seeing what's going. It should feel visceral. I think it's going to be pretty intense."

James Franco Found 'Breaking Dawn''s Sex Scene To Be A 'Letdown After All That Buildup'
Press Room Category: Articles, Video, Twilight Saga
What we love about James Franco is that, despite pursuing a Ph.D. at Yale, garnering serious Oscar buzz in "127 Hours" and embodying a Hollywood A-list persona, he's taken time out of his busy schedule to keep up with the trends. That's right, James has both read and watched the "Twilight" books and films, and when MTV News caught up with him at the Toronto International Film Festival where he was promoting "127 Hours," he spent more time talking about the phenomenon than the film's stars typically do.

While he may not be a self-proclaimed Twi-hard after reading the series, James can at least reference Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner on a first name basis (you'd be surprised to find there are celebs out there who can't), and can clearly understand the deeper metaphors of the stories.

"I wouldn't say I enjoy them, but I'm fascinated with them," James said about the books. "I'm interested in the metaphor of the vampire placed in the high school setting and how a relationship with a vampire can stand in for general feelings that people have as teenagers. And the obsession people have with that is also fascinating to me."

James also took some time analyzing the role of the films in the whole "Twilight" craze. "It's really hard to extricate those actors from the reading experience of just the phenomenon of 'Twilight' now," he said. He also gave a shout-out to the self-references of "Eclipse" that we loved so much.

"The movies are almost commenting on themselves," he said. "There will be a scene where the go-to guys, Taylor and Rob, are in the tent, it's almost like a 'Brokeback Mountain' scene, where the two guys are talking in a tent and the girl is asleep, and they're having, like, this romantic moment almost through her, in a way. One of them says, 'Well, I'm hotter than you,' and it's almost like they're winking at the fans, like to the Team Jacob or the Team Edwards."

But he does have one "Twilight" concession to make: He hasn't finished reading "Breaking Dawn." He has heard a bit about the birthing scene ("I kind of know what happens, some very strange birth, right?" he asked rhetorically), but at least his reasoning for calling it quits part way through the book matches our own frustrations when we were reading it the first time!

"I read a part of it. I think I got to the sex scene, but it was so brief, I didn't even know if it was the actual sex scene," he admitted. "It was kind of a letdown after all that buildup."

'Twilight' Fan Spends $60 Grand to Hang with Cast on 'Breaking Dawn' Set
Press Room Category: Articles, Breaking Dawn Movie
How much would you spend for a day with Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson? If more than $60,100, you might want to kick yourself for not taking part in the recent eBay auction for a chance to hang out with the star duo on the 'Breaking Dawn' set next year. After ten days, and a heated last few minutes that saw the bidding increase from $40,000 to the winning amount above, one very lucky 'Twilight' fan now gets to pay more money than most people make in a year for airfare to Seattle, VIP car service to Vancouver and a presumably memorable experience chumming around with vampire royalty.

Before you call it a waste of money, the whopping sum is going to a good cause: Stand Up To Cancer, which just recently held its latest telethon, will receive all proceeds from the auction. Hopefully for the amount donated the prize winner will also be given a little walk-on role, too. It's only fair, no? Given that such a part on TV's 'True Blood' has in the past been available for $10,000 and for $25,000 you could be an extra in 'X-Men: First Class,' sixty grand should be worth a little more than a bit of hanging out. Maybe the guy or girl can tag along as third wheel on a date?

Those of you who aren't 'Twilight' fans, for what other movie would you pay so much money for a chance at a set visit? What if we said you could pick any film in the history of cinema? 'Star Wars'? 'Casablanca'? 'Back to the Future'?
