Robert Pattinson: 'I Didn't Like the Way 'New Moon' Was Treated By Critics'
09 Mar 2010
Parade Magazine released part one of an interview with Robert, who discussed his career, 'Remember Me', and his thoughts on reviews for 'New Moon':
Maybe he skips the reviews.
"I didn't like the way New Moon was treated by the critics. I think it was reviewed in the context of just being a big franchise movie. When something is so hyped, inevitably, there is a backlash against it. I think Chris Weitz is an amazing director. I really enjoyed the film. So the naysayers kind of annoyed me."
So why not try an album?
"I kind of want to do one at the end of the year. All my friends are recording albums and I'm very annoyed about it. But I can't do two things at once. I don't know how people like Jennifer Lopez can act and also sing. I'm just like, 'I can't.' But, hopefully, I'll find some time to get it together."

Anna Kendrick Is 'Undecided' About Filming 'Breaking Dawn' In 3-D
08 Mar 2010
Kendrick is the latest 'Twilight' castmember to express concerns about filming the last installment in the saga in three dimensions.
Anna Kendrick isn't sure she'd like to see the next installment of the "Twilight Saga" in 3-D. Not only does she have reservations about tackling "Breaking Dawn" in three dimensions, but she isn't really sure she's down with 3-D at all, for that matter.
"I'm still undecided about 3-D, personally," the Oscar nominee told MTV News on the red carpet at the Academy Awards on Sunday (March 7). "But obviously they don't consult me personally on whether or not 'Breaking Dawn' is going to be in 3-D."
While she joked that it's in her contract that she be involved in those kinds of decisions, Kendrick, who also shared that she thought the "Eclipse" trailer is going to be "beautiful," is the latest castmember to be anti 3-D for "Breaking Dawn."
Kellan Lutz isn't a big fan of 3-D movies, either. "3-D kind of hurts my eyes anyways. 'Avatar' was amazing in 3-D and in IMAX, but I don't think I wanna see a little baby half-vampire in 3-D," he said, echoing a similar sentiment made by Kristen Stewart. "There's just some scenes I just wouldn't want to see in 3-D."
Robert Pattinson admitted he felt the same way about the possibility. "The 3-D thing confuses me," Pattinson said. "I haven't seen 'Avatar' or any of these 3-D movie things yet. The idea of it ... I remember 3-D movies from when I was a kid, and I can just picture it giving me a headache."

IESB Exclusive Interview: Chris Weitz Looks Back at The Twilight Saga: New Moon
05 Mar 2010
IESB has an exclusive interview with Chris Weitz, where he reveals that he will likely not be directing 'Breaking Dawn'. I think that's too bad! He gets quite in depth reflecting on directing 'New Moon' and the upcoming DVD release. Read below what he has to say regarding the next film:
IESB: Looking back on the process of making New Moon, from pre-production to the finalization of the DVD, what will you remember most about the experience? Was there anything that you learned about directing or filmmaking that you'll carry with you to future projects?
Chris: What I learned was the power of a devoted audience, in supporting the filmmaker's efforts. I felt incredibly supported by the fans throughout the process. And then, to see their enjoyment and anticipation was such a visceral experience that you don't usually get to have on a memory. What I learned, as a director, was that very early on I promised myself and the actors that I would never rush them along or expect them to do something, just because it was a movie and we had a schedule to meet, and that we could always talk things through, no matter what. When I worked with my brother, I was probably the guy who was less likely to talk with the actors, and this was a full commitment to always engaging with them, and that's something I'll always take with me.
IESB: With the reception for New Moon being so overwhelming and favorable for the final outcome of the film, would you consider coming back to helm the last film, if that were to present itself, or have you moved on from the Twilight Saga?
Chris: I wouldn't say it's so much that I've moved on. It's just a very daunting prospect for someone with a young family to imagine taking on what I think will probably be an 80-day shoot. It may have moved on from me. I think the best set-up for this series of films may be that there's a new filmmaker for each one.

New Moon Director Promises Eclipse Will Be 'Steamy'
04 Mar 2010
Team Jacob, hold on to your sleeping bags.
Chris Weitz, who directed New Moon, the second installment in the Twilight series, says he has read the script for this summer's third installment, Eclipse – and that one scene in particular is a scorcher.
"I'm looking forward to the sleeping bag scene, I gotta say," Weitz tells PEOPLE. "That's going to be very steamy."
In Eclipse's fan-favorite "tent scene," – spoiler alert! – a freezing Bella, who is on the run from evil vamp Victoria, gets a warm-up from werewolf Jacob when he squeezes into her sleeping bag – while a jealous Edward looks on. The movie will open June 30.
Weitz also says he is eager to see Edward's vampire "parents," played by Elizabeth Reaser and Peter Facinelli, sink their teeth into Eclipse's more intense action.

Teen Hollywood Interviews Rob for 'Remember Me'
04 Mar 2010
Teen Hollywood conducted an interview with Robert where they discuss his upcoming movie 'Remember Me'. It was a rather thorough and good interview. You can read it in its entirety here.
TeenHollywood: You play an NYU student and the apartment and other locales seem very real. What did being in the actual places do for you performance-wise?
Rob: I always felt, if this is a typical NYU student's apartment then (wow!) He's living in the East Village in this really nice apartment, just a little bit messy, I always thought that was a little bit much. It looked like a million dollar apartment (to me).
But it did help. Before I went to New York, I thought it was going to be really easy and I could just hang out there and pick up on a lot of New Yorker's mannerisms but it ended up being a more kind of circus than I thought it was going to be (laughs). But, yeah, it definitely was (helpful).
(It was helpful) especially shooting at NYU. I knew quite a few people who went there as well so that was easier and I think the script helped as well because you always see college movies and there is always like beer pong which is like 'this can't be real'. Maybe it is. I have no idea (laughing).
