Twilight Girls Featured in Vanity Fair

For the July issue of Vanity Fair, Norman Jean Roy photographed the spooky beauties of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse—five vampires (Dakota Fanning, Nikki Reed, Ashley Greene, Elizabeth Reaser, Bryce Dallas Howard) and one lone lady werewolf (Julia Jones). Nancy Jo Sales was on set, where, between takes, the girls mused on the gothic romance that has everyone palpitating.

Nikki Reed plays the disapproving Rosalie Cullen. Here’s her take on the story’s appeal: “Bella and Edward’s love is very taboo and forbidden,” says Reed, “and I think that kind of represents all youthful relationships, because that’s what all first loves feel like. … It’s sort of borderline, like, insane.”

Elizabeth Reaser, who plays vampire mom Esme, exclaims on the attractive young men of Twilight: “Oh, it gets so old, you have no idea,” says Reaser. “It has no effect on me. They’re all gorgeous and lovely boys. … You just want someone interesting and weird at a certain point. I have a massive crush on Larry David.”

Bryce Dallas Howard, a replacement actress playing vampire-with-a-vengeance Victoria, is a Twihard: “I had seen Twilight innumerable times. After I saw it for the fourth time, one of my best guy friends, for my birthday, made me Post-it notes with Robert Pattinson’s face that said, ‘Live Dangerously,’ because I was so obsessed. My husband actually said to me, ‘Do I need to be worried about this?’”

Ashley Greene, who plays psychic vampire Alice, anticipates success: “You don’t have to be psychic to know how this movie’s going to do,” she says. “Obviously, it’s going to be a hit.”

Jimmy Kimmel Celebrates 'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' in Primetime

ABC is giving Jimmy Kimmel a full primetime special dedicated to the June 30 release of "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse."

Titled "Jimmy Kimmel Live: Twilight Saga: Total Eclipse of the Heart," the special will air from 10:01-11:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 23.

ABC boasts that this will be the only joint primetime appearance by "Twilight" stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner. And if that's not enough, co-stars Dakota Fanning, Bryce Howard and Xavier Samuel will be on-hand, plus "special guests."

Kimmel will sell his soul to the devil -- or, we guess, to the werewolves and vampires -- in exchange for exclusive "Twilight" content and more.

Eagle-eyed ABC scheduling freaks will note that June 23 was supposed to be the airdate for the penultimate episode of the summer burnoff for the mystery dud "Happy Town." Instead, the episode titled "Dallas Alice Doesn't Live here Anymore" will be pushed to June 30 and the season [series] finale of "Happy Town" will air on July 7.

Most Anticipated Summer Hero and Villain Poll Results!

Bryce Dallas Howard as Victoria in 'Eclipse' has made the top of Fandango's list of Most Anticipated Summer Hero and Villain, obviously as the the villain!

On the villain side of things…I mean, c'mon – is there anyone we despise more than Bryce Dallas Howard's Victoria in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse? This is Howard's first go at the role (the character was previously played by Rachelle Lefevre in both New Moon and Twilight), and so fans will need to warm up (or down) to her. That said, even with Howard taking over the role for the first time, fans are still more than pumped to see her run all sorts of naughty deeds with the character.

'Eclipse': Some Great Stories From The Set

In honor of the release of the second "Eclipse." trailer, last night was the first ever live Facebook chat between fans and the stars of "The Twilight Saga," hosted by Summit Entertainment. While only about 8,000 viewers tuned in (we say "only" because we know there are millions of you out there), it was a nice chance to let the stars — Nikki Reed, Julia Jones and Bryce Dallas Howard — show off their chemistry and tell some tales from the set of "Eclipse." Even some news worthy stuff slipped in.

Yesterday we had questioned whether or not Rosalie and the wolf pack would be getting flashbacks in the film for their backstories, and Nikki answered the former during the live chat. She said they had been able to do a decent amount of filming in the 1930s and get a chance to explain where Rosalie's character was coming from.

"Kristen and I shot a really intense seven page scene where I was just pouring my heart and explaining why I am the way I am," Nikki said, adding that Rosalie was "not a one dimensional character." "It's a frustrating feeling. You don't really get to say what you want to say, and you hope that you can convey what you want to say in the two seconds you're on screen."

She also tossed out Jack Huston's name as the actor playing her ex-fiance Royce King, who you will know best from the TV show "Eastwick."

Happy Valentine's Day! What better way to celebrate than with some great new 'Eclipse' stills! Hopefully with time we'll get these stills in high quality, but let's just enjoy these for now! Thanks to ROBsessed and Delaney for sharing these stills for us all to enjoy.

It's with great sadness that we have temporarily pulled these images off our website. It has come to light that apparently, these were not officially released images from Summit and rather, were leaked onto the internet. With this understanding, they will be unavailable until we have word that they're okay to re-release.

Bryce Dallas Howard: Torn Between Edward & Jacob

Twilight's freshman vampire Bryce Dallas Howard plays for both teams.

Howard, who replaced Rachelle Lefevre as Victoria in Eclipse, insists she can't decide if she's Team Edward or Team Jacob...

"I understand Bella's dilemma," Howard, 28, told us at the recent Art of Elysium benefit. "It's so hard! I mean, I went berserk over Edward when I read Twilight and when I saw the film. In New Moon Taylor is incredible as Jacob, so I don't know."

Howard is all about spreading the love.

"I love the books," she said about Stephenie Meyer's best-selling Twilight novels. And, of course, she "loved" the Twilight and New Moon movies.

But it doesn't sound like Howard has quite grasped the fandemonium that comes along with being part of Twilight, insisting it's not her personal fan base that will grow.

"That's more about the character," she said. "It really is."

Try telling that to Rob and Kristen.

Bryce Dallas Howard Says Good Morning America

Stepping out for a promotional appearance, Bryce Dallas Howard was spotted arriving at ABC Studios in Times Square, New York City this morning (December 22).

The “Eclipse” actress looked bright-eyed and bushy-tailed as she made her way inside for and interview on “Good Morning America.”

And though the next “Twilight Saga” flick doesn’t hit theaters til mid-2010, Bryce is already gushing about how much she loved working with Kristen Stewart.

“Kristen is fantastic and so, so passionate about this role and this character. Kristen was incredible to work with, incredible.”

Bryce Dallas Howard Says 'Eclipse' Has An 'Extraordinary Finale'

Actress stepping into role of Victoria calls final showdown 'a true battle scene.'

"Twilight" actors from Ashley Greene to Nikki Reed have already weighed in on their favorite scenes in the upcoming "Eclipse." And like many of the saga's stars, newcomer Bryce Dallas Howard's favorite scene to film was the movie's epic battle sequence.

"There's quite an extraordinary finale," Howard told MTV News of the scene that took weeks of intense fight training to prepare for. "That was very fun to do."

Those well-versed in Stephenie Meyer's fantastical world of vampires and werewolves know that the third "Twilight" installment focuses heavily on elements of love and war. In addition to the love triangle involving Edward, Bella and Jacob, "Eclipse" follows the actions of vampire Victoria, who creates an army of newborn bloodsuckers to avenge the death of her mate James in "Twilight."

Howard was careful not to reveal any details about the pivotal scene, but she did concede that the battle will likely trump the ballet-studio fight in "Twilight" and the Volturi rumble in "New Moon."
