Kristen Stewart Wants 'Eclipse' Trailer To Show 'Battle Stuff'
20 Feb 2010
'The newborns are going to look awesome,' Stewart says of the third 'Twilight' film.
Though Twilighters are already salivating for the chance to see the first "Eclipse" trailer in theaters next month, star Kristen Stewart had yet to hear Thursday's news that the trailer would make its big debut before Robert Pattinson's "Remember Me" on March 12.
"Really? Oh my god! I have no idea!" Stewart told MTV News at the premiere of her latest release, "The Yellow Handkerchief." "I didn't even know it was coming out, so ... that's news to me too!"
Stewart did have an idea of what she's eager to see in the trailer for the third "Twilight" installment. "Oh, my gosh! There's a really cool thing that happens on a cliff with Jacob that should definitely be in there," she explained. "Battle stuff. I would say the [newborn vampires]. The newborns are going to look awesome."
Stewart said she has yet to see any footage from the David Slade-directed movie, which finished filming in October. "I haven't even done like [automated dialogue replacement]," she said.
Late last year, at the New York premiere of "New Moon," Stewart told MTV News that she was really excited for fans to get a chance to see the love triangle between Jacob, Bella and Edward intensify in this next film. "I'm looking forward to seeing the love triangle actually becoming a problem," she said. "We sort of innocently touch on it in 'New Moon,' but it actually becomes something that is very, very real."

Kristen Stewart Hopes 'Eclipse' Proposal Scene 'Turned Out All Right'
20 Feb 2010
'Well, to decide you're gonna marry someone at 18 is a pretty hefty decision,' the 'Twilight' star said.
Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are getting married. Wait, it's not what you think. In "Eclipse," out in June, their characters Bella and Edward decide to take their relationship to the next level and get engaged.
But Stewart had some apprehensions about shooting that scene. She didn't want the scenario of two teens, one being a vampire who happens to be many years older than his facade of 17, deciding to marry one another to look silly or unbelievable.
"Well, to decide you're gonna marry someone at 18 is a pretty hefty decision," she told MTV News from the red carpet of the premiere of her new movie, "The Yellow Handkerchief." "And I didn't want to look stupid. I didn't want it to look like kids getting married. You know what I mean?"
Stewart said she had to find an emotional space that allowed her to make a teenage engagement seem plausible. "I wanted to be, like, 'Oh! Wow! I would say yes too!' You know what I mean? So I don't know how you do that. You try to do it for real, and it felt good. I hope it turned out alright."
The actress also shared which scenes she'd like to see appear in the "Eclipse" trailer that's set to premiere in March during showings of Pattinson's "Remember Me." "Oh, my gosh! There's a really cool thing that happens on a cliff with Jacob that should definitely be in there," she explained. "Battle stuff. I would say the [newborn vampires]. The newborns are going to look awesome."

Kristen Stewart: I'm Going to the Oscars...With Taylor!
20 Feb 2010
Robert Pattinson presented at last year's Oscars, but guess which Twilight stars are doing it this time around?
I'll let Kristen Stewart tell you…
"Yeah, I'm going," Stewart just told me when I asked if we'd be seeing her on March 7 at the Academy Awards. "Me and Taylor are going to present."
Stewart admitted she's very nervous.
"I've been looking at shoes," she said. "I'm trying to pick shoes that I know I won't fall down in."
I chatted with Stewart at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, where she'd been holed up for most of the day promoting her new drama, The Yellow Handkerchief, with costars Eddie Redmyane, Maria Bello and William Hurt.
In a couple of days, she'll be in London for BAFTA's Orange Awards, where she's a Rising Star nominee.

Video: Kristen Stewart Comments on 'Breaking Dawn'
20 Feb 2010
While Kristen was promoting her film 'The Yellow Handkerchief', Collider had a chance to talk with Kristen about 'Breaking Dawn' as well in regards to her preference to the length of the movie and whether it should be in 3D or not:
The thing to know is I did two interviews with Stewart today. The first one was a TV interview and the second was a roundtable interview with a few other journalists. During the TV portion I asked a question that came from a twitter follower named Amanda and it was her thoughts on Twilight possibly going 3D. Here’s what she had to say:
