Dazzling Twilight is TWO years old!

Whoa, so I just came to the realization that today marks the two year anniversary of opening Dazzling Twilight! I've just been too busy lately to even realize it and unfortunately I don't have anything special ready to celebrate. I know that the past few months, my posts have been dwindling, but I'm hoping to revitalize it as soon as I can. For those of you who have stuck around, thank you so much and I hope you continue to do so! :) If you want to say anything about it, feel free to post on the comments wall to the right!
Hopefully within the week I can find some time to get this site into the holiday spirit with some sprucing up of the layout :) Stay tuned!

Dazzling Twilight Gets A Fresh New Look

Well it's about time, we have FINALLY posted a brand new layout at Dazzling Twilight! What do you guys think? The last layout was posted for almost 10 months! Kind of ridiculous. To be honest, I am not fully in love with this one, but a change was so badly needed I whipped this one together and just wanted to get something up. The color scheme was inspired by the meadow with blues, greens, and light purples. Hope you all enjoy it for now!

The site definitely needs a major overhaul - catch up on updates from the past month, and a fresh new look is desperately needed. Slowly but surely we will get back into business, so be on the look out!

Temporary Hiatus

As I'm sure you've noticed, the updates the past couple of weeks have been severely lacking and disappointing... worst time for it be that way, right? Unfortunately, it is going to be this way until after fourth of July. So sorry that we will be unable to update regarding the premiere and everything that goes with it! Major updates, catching up with all that was missed, will return after the fourth of July. Hope we see you then!

Stephenie Meyer Blogs About Twilight Fansite Interviews

Yesterday, Stephenie Meyer blogged on her official site that she drew four USA website names out of a hat, and those websites will have a chance to have an interview with her to answer any questions! Congrats to the winning websites!
Hey guys,
I want to do something different with publicity for this movie release. For Twilight, I did the normal press junket, for New Moon I got to go on Oprah. Both of these were fun, exciting experiences. However, they both had the same drawback—the interviews were designed for a very broad audience, and because of that, most of the questions were about things you guys have known the answers to for years. I feel like all of the basic questions have been answered, and for Eclipse I want to focus on the more specific questions of the readers. To accomplish that, I'm hosting my own mini-junket with a few fansites. It will be held on Friday, June 18th, the week before the L.A. premiere.
Unfortunately, I can't talk to every single site, and I want to keep this as low key and enjoyable as possible. So I put all the U.S. fansites in a hat (for logistical reasons, we had to keep this in the country) and drew out four names.
The names I drew were:
* Twilight Series Theories (twilightseriestheories.com)
* Twilight Source (twilightsource.com)
* Twifans (www.twifans.com)
* Letters To Twilight (letterstotwilight.wordpress.com)
Each of these sites is invited to send two members of their staff (or one member and a guest) to our fan-centric mini-junket. You will be contacted shortly by my assistant, who will give you all the specific information. In the event that any of the sites is unable to send representatives, I've already drawn four back up sites, which I will post if it becomes necessary.
I'll answer all of your questions (and your readers questions, if you want to poll them) about the Eclipse Movie, and the Bree story, as well, which will have been out for a few weeks by then. We'll have lunch, hang out, and hopefully have a fantastic time. I hope you all can make it!

Dazzling Twilight Is One Years Old!

I had such a busy day, I forgot to put this up!!! On December 7th, Dazzling Twilight became officially one years old!!! The site was started on November 24 and was opened on December 7th. I originally wanted to do some sort of celebration for the site to celebrate one year, but I've just been so busy that it's become more of an afterthought. Hopefully in the upcoming weeks I can possibly add some cool things to the site, so be sure to keep checking back ;p. Hope you can leave some kind words on our chat to the right side of the page! :)

Once again, a delay in SOTM considering I missed November all together, but I wanted to make sure I got around to December to close out the 2009 year! For December, we have chosen Robert Pattinson Fan as site of the month! The many reasons why we love this site is explained below:
This site is the real deal! Robert Pattinson Fan has been opened for over FOUR and a 1/2 years!!! Talk about dedication to not only Robert Pattinson fans but to the fans of the site itself. Dazzling Twilight is fortunate enough to be an affiliate of the site. Their gallery is just gigantic, with over 16,000 images and counting! You can also follow them on twitter @ RPFan_org, which has over 4,000 members! Their site content also includes videos, tons of graphics with the face of the man you love (avatars, blends, wallpapers, you name it!), and a popular forum. October Site of the Month - Edward Cullen Net

I have been meaning to start back up with Site of the Month for the longest time, but for some reason each month just flies right by and I never get around to it. I finally got myself back into the swing of things and have chosen a Site of the Month for October - Edward Cullen Net! Please read the description I posted below on this great fansite:
First off, ECN is an Elite Affiliate of Dazzling Twilight. I think what tends to draw me to a website is how the webmaster/webmistress handles themselves and the site. When we first became affiliates this past June, I was glad I was able to talk directly to Jackie, the webmistress herself, and not some automated reply system like most sites have! I've always enjoyed the originality of her layouts, and consistent updates on the saga and our favorite vampire. It's no wonder that Edward Cullen Net is nominated at Pattinson Online's Twisite Awards, so don't hesitate to vote for them!
